Betty MacDonald fan club founder Wolfgang Hampel is working on new Betty MacDonald stories and interviews. You can read several of Wolfgang Hampel very witty satirical poems in Betty MacDonald fan club newsletter March.

We'll have a Betty MacDonald Contest and a new outstanding Betty MacDonald fan club honor member will join us.

I hope Mr. Tigerli and his team are going to share their Eurovision favourites.

When I heard Cascada's Glorious I knew who will be ESC Winner 2013.  Glorious!!!!!

Betty MacDonald and Otfried Preußler belong to my favourite writers.

Otfried Preußler, a world-famous German children's book author died on February 18, 2013 at the age of 89.

I met Otfried Preußler several years ago and he told me that he enjoyed Betty MacDonald's books very much. He was especially fond of Betty MacDonald's Nancy and Plum.

More than 50 million copies of Otfried Preußler's books have been sold worldwide and they have been translated in 55 languages.

Otfried Preußler's best-known works are  The Robber Hotzenplotz and The Satanic Mill (Krabat).

My favourite is The little Water Sprite.

My role models are Betty MacDonald, Mr. Tigerli's very nice russian girl and Steffi Graf.

Steffi Graf was born in Mannheim and lived in Brühl.

Some years ago I made a tour and  saw Steffi Graf's house there.

My Betty MacDonald dream is to visit all the places where Betty MacDonald and her family lived.

I'm crazy about Wolfgang Hampel's Betty MacDonald interviews.
